Runway to Reality began as Teen Appeal in the summer of 2004. At the time, four women including Monica Cops and Molly Miller, had a desire to combat the negative images of women in the area of fashion, especially teens. They wanted to see fashion contribute to the dignity of all women.
During 2004-2005 Runway to Reality developed a series of workshops for both girls and women that were given in homes, schools, churches, and other group meeting places. Monica Cops and Molly Miller developed workshops and implemented conferences such as Beauty and the Blessed, Mind Over Media, and Cultured Pearls of Wisdom.
The material in the Runway to Reality presentations for girls became the basis for the book series All Things Girl, which Molly and Monica coauthored. Their goal was to spread in all dioceses the message that all girls and women are Daughters of the King . The book series became the vehicle to spread this message. Since the books were written, Molly and Monica participated in a television series by EWTN based on the All Things Girl books.
Based on the All Things Girl book series, Molly and Monica have developed conferences and workshops for girls of all ages.
Runway to Reality is presently the entity used by Monica and Molly to bring conferences to the Green Bay area using fashion and image related topics as the basis for teaching women and girls the dignity of the person.
